1. What ingredients are in your Gingerbread biscuits? They are made from good quality Flour, Brown Sugar, Golden Syrup,Vegetable Fat, Bicarbonate of Soda and Ground Ginger, with no added preservatives, colourings or additives. Allergy advice: Contains wheat gluten. Made in a Nut Free environment but manufacturers of ingredients cannot guarantee they are ‘Nut Free’.
  2. How do I know they are safe to eat? All our biscuits are made with the utmost care following hygiene and health and safety guidelines by those holding a Level 2 Certificate for 'Food safety in Catering' in our kitchen registered with the Local Authority and awarded the highest rating of 'Five Star'. They are made and packaged in a nut, pet and smoke free home, our motto being 'we only sell what we would love to eat ourselves!'
  3. How long will they remain edible for? They are made fresh to order and the gift tag will specify a 'best before' date which is a month from production.
  4. How long will they last for as a decoration? This all depends on the environment they are displayed in and the care taken in handling them. Moisture, movement and munching are the biggest threats to your Garland but with care customers have reported Garlands lasting for over a year.
  5. How quickly will my order be sent? From payment being received we aim to hand make and post them within 2-3 days. However, this is only a guide and in peak Gingerbread frenzy periods it may be longer. Please use the 'Contact Us' button to discuss dispatch and delivery if time is of the essence. We use Royal Mail First Class as standard so delivery should be within 3-4 days of receipt of payment in normal conditions.
  6. What if I need my Gingerbread Greeting to arrive by a particular event? Just specify it on the order form giving as much notice as possible and we will do our utmost, Royal Mail willing, to achieve it.
  7. How do you know the biscuits will survive posting? Although we cannot give any guarantees on events outside our control we can assure you that the packaging has been especially designed for our Gingerbread Greeting Garlands. As well as the strong 'Defendapack' box there are additional corrugated paper inserts and bubblewrap to cushion and protect each individually wrapped biscuit. Sending our Garlands by Royal Mail post has been rigorously tested across the world and to date we are pleased to report there have been no gingerbread casualties!
  8. What if I want something a bit different from the designs featured on the website? We love a challenge so either use the 'Contact Us' E-Mail or telephone number link and we will happily discuss your requirements in order to achieve a Gingerbread Greeting solution.
  9. Do you send Gingerbread Greetings internationally? Yes, Gingerbread Greetings go global, please use the Contact Us E-Mail option or telephone us to discuss your requirements and postage rates.
  10. Will my Gingerbread Greeting Garland look exactly like the website picture? Part of the charm of homemade biscuits is their unique freshly baked appearance so minor variations in texture, tone or shape are to be expected. There may also be the odd occasion when an alternative ribbon has to be used but it will always be in keeping with the design of the garland and of the same good quality. The biscuits will arrive strung on their ribbon but each biscuit is adjustable to suit the length of the garland you wish to hang up in your home.
